<br />
The Knicks are trying to build around Carmelo Anthony's final prime years and with a very good move in bringing in Derrick Rose, the Knicks just added his good friend, and hometown Knicks fan, Joakim Noah for 4 years and 70 million.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
Noah is coming off of an injured plagued season, but no one can knock the passion and hustle and his knack for being a great defender. He is the ultimate locker room guy and is an upgrade at center over Robin Lopez.</div>

Negatives?<br />
-18 million a year to a player in his 30s which effects our ability to get more prices next season. Lopez was signed to what was mocked as a bad deal ( a bargain with the numbers being thrown around this off-season )</div>
<div dir="ltr">
- extremely volatile! His passion and energy is amazing when going after loose balls and offensive rebounds and amazing block shots, but it will earn him technical after technical foul and cost his them momentum and even ejections.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
I actually wanted Mozgov because he would provide the same type of numbers minus the negatives but the Lakers decided to destroy the balance of contracts and sign him to a four-year deal worth 60 million!</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
Knicks are in on SG Eric Gordon. Super talented and good friend of Derrick Rose ( notice a trend here? ) and very good shooter and scorer. He also is injury prone and we can end up with Rose, Noah and Gordon all on IR by Christmas...ugh.</div>

<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">Gotta hand it to Phil, he is slowly making some moves and even though as a Knicks fan i am trained to wish for the best and accept the worse, there is nothing about this deal that i can be negative about.</span><br />
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; letter-spacing: 0.5px; line-height: 26px; margin-bottom: 1.625rem; margin-top: 1.625rem; padding: 0rem 0px;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">The Bulls will acquire Robin Lopez, Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon in the trade. The Knicks will also receive Justin Holiday and a 2017 second-round pick"</span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 1.625rem; margin-top: 1.625rem; padding: 0rem 0px;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">I really liked the energy and hustle Lopez played with and his contract wasn't horrible at all, considering how bad contracts are about to get ( rumors are Noah is looking for MAX money 4 yrs 120!!! ). Jerian Grant has the potential to be a very good pro in this league and i hoped to have developed him. Calderon is way past his prime, he played with alot of heart but the man's skills are diminished beyond reproach. </span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 1.625rem; margin-top: 1.625rem; padding: 0rem 0px;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 1.625rem; margin-top: 1.625rem; padding: 0rem 0px;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">Derrick Rose was an MVP in this league averaging 25ppg and about 8 assists a game. The current version of Mr Rose is no where near that. What he is though is still one of the better PGs in the league. He can still attack a defense, commands attention from the opponents D and he can play decent defense. </span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 1.625rem; margin-top: 1.625rem; padding: 0rem 0px;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;"> The trade is a win, win for the Knicks. Rose has new life in NY. The mecca. Where the lights shine bright. If he can reclaim some of his former glory he can earn himself a long term deal as a free agent or re-up with the Knicks. If he doesn't work out, just let the contract expire and we regain cap space for 2017 and make a HUGE push for Westbrook. </span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 1.625rem; margin-top: 1.625rem; padding: 0rem 0px;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">The Knicks now focus on getting a replacement for Lopez in the middle as i can't see Porzingus manning the middle due to his strength issues. We also need a SG and the list is light. I would welcome a Jamaal Crawford return or maybe give Eric Gordon a chance to prove himself. Jordan Clarkson would be a great player to target also.</span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 1.625rem; margin-top: 1.625rem; padding: 0rem 0px;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">Things are looking good for the Knicks and the best part? We own all our picks next season!!</span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 1.625rem; margin-top: 1.625rem; padding: 0rem 0px;">

<br />
<br />
<br />
I have to let go of all "hate" of LeBron James. What he did this NBA Finals and bringing a championship to Cleveland is things of legends.<br />
<br />
The way the Cavs pulled together and won this for "The Land" was inspiring. JR Smith played defense. Kyrie outplayed the MVP. Tristan Thompson showed people why he got paid. Kevin Love, in one defensive possession, proved his worth to this team and how much he loves playing for this group even though he fits like round peg in a square hole.<br />
<br />
Knick fans felt spurned by LeBron during his "decision" and the hate is real. It could have been us with Mozgod, JR and Shump winning one for Gotham, yet here we sit watching four former Knicks get rings ( Mozgod, JR, Shump and Channing Frye ) <br />
<br />
I'm ready to let it go and embrace LeBron as one of the best ever as one ring for Cleveland is like 2 in any other city! The King finally delivered for his kingdom.DCXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06625786618095890693noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228304553385301723.post-61490161217101048512016-04-09T08:23:00.001-04:002016-04-09T08:23:41.620-04:00How AMC lost its touch<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Ok<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I will start by saying , I'm a HUGE fan of the comics and the AMC show. I can appreciate that they co-exist in a shared universe and will be different and I respect that. Some characters are dead in the comic that may be still alive in the show and vice versa, some things added, some things taken away, again all fine, all good. I do have a HUGE problem with what AMC has done in season six and especially in the season's finale!!<br />
<br />
The nature of a cliffhanger is well known and established in media. Books, TV, Movies and even video games and radio.<br />
My biggest problem with the cliffhanger is that it was done completely for ratings and killed the story that HAS been told. If youre going to end it in a cliffhanger than end it with his intro and then continue the scene in the fall. It is garbage that they played out the entire scene, including the " Lucille " victim except....they didn't show us who it was!! Like some half-hearted daytime soap who needed a rating push. It's disappointing, it's bush league especially with the audience. You have us. We die hards. Its six seasons in. Don't treat us like we don't deserve what is one of, if not the most impactful moment from the comics and end it like this...but end it like this they did!<br />
<br />
The showrunners have promised us a grand premiere. Unlike there has ever been before. Of course, it will be. It would have been regardless because if we were shown the victim, we would have had the same amount of discussion we are now except it would be anger and disappointment, it would be sorrow and wonderment. How will they keep the death from leaking is beyond me. Season seven will start shooting in May/June. Set photos will leak. Who is there and not there will leak. Someone auditioning for a new show or movie will leak. Just a clusterfuck of epic proportions just for an artificial spike in ratings when you are already number 1.<br />
<br />
I will tune in, I will still watch because I'm invested this much and have a loyalty to the brand , but they need to wise up to this type of crap before they will lose viewership!<br />
<br />
I think it will be either Glen or Abraham. It should be Darryl, but AMC lacks balls!DCXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06625786618095890693noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228304553385301723.post-55510633711548897852016-04-07T19:04:00.000-04:002016-06-24T20:42:02.733-04:00RisenAfter a long hiatus, I am back to continue to maintain this blog at least once a week.<br />
<br />
A ton has happened since my last entry and It would take an eternity to catch you up but let us say it's been hard and satisfying and here I stand :)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://cbsnewyork.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/carmelo-anthony2.jpg?w=625&h=352&crop=1" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://cbsnewyork.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/carmelo-anthony2.jpg?w=625&h=352&crop=1" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The Knicks still suck. I think its safe to say that five years from now that statement may still ring true. Carmelo is holding the franchise hostage with his no trade clause but the front office not only maxed him out but also gave him the clause to begin with. Double down. The triangle is not going to work. Not with this talent and Melo the centerpiece of it. Durant is not walking through those doors either. The best we can hope for is maybe having Melo waive his no-trade and get maybe Jimmy Butler and a pick. Going to be a looooooong summer....as usual.<br />
<br />
I shall post my thoughts on Batman VS Superman and the Season Six finale of The Walking Dead over the weekend. They both found ways to disappoint!<br />

Its has been over a year since I have posted and boy have things changed.<br />
<br />
Personally, my life is completely different. It has been a stressful and tough road but with love and support of those close to me, I have done well for myself.<br />
<br />
PS4 and Xbox One launched and although I own both I must, the selection of games has been disappointing. The future is bright and I'm looking forward to another year of The GAF Madden League. The Vita is slowly being phased out and EA just continues to find ways to keep its top spot of worse company ever.<br />
<br />
LeBron went home, Melo cashed in, Falcons imploded, Paul George's leg went left while he went right, Tiger sucks still and Tony Stewart mows down a fellow racer...what an odd year!DCXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06625786618095890693noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228304553385301723.post-31476204075501877842013-08-16T23:54:00.000-04:002016-06-24T20:42:44.918-04:00Atlanta Falcons Season Preview 2013: Offense<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/slides/photos/002/740/240/hi-res-127573798_crop_650x440.jpg?1352464867" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/slides/photos/002/740/240/hi-res-127573798_crop_650x440.jpg?1352464867" height="216" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The Atlanta Falcons enter this season with high expectations. Coming a half short of a Super Bowl trip, the Dirty Birds are poised to take the next step with a revamped secondary and a new running back to get those tough yards.<br />
<br />
Matt Ryan played extremely well last season and with all due respect, he should have. Weapons like Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez and the explosive Julio Jones, its no wonder why the Falcons were in the top half in the league in passing and points scored.<br />
<br />
The inability to get the short yards is what ultimately did the Falcons offense in. Third and short, or goal line situations were return to sender. Jaquizz Rodgers not having enough punch and an out of gad Micheal Turner kept the Falcons from moving the ball and burning out the clock with a lead. They have signed a replacement for Micheal Turner in Steven Jackson who is a strong power back with some left in the tank and should be able to grind out the yards that Turner left on the field. He is also a great blocker and a very good receiver out of the back field.<br />
<br />
The OLine took a hit when we released veteran T Tyson Clabo. The injury to T Mike Johnson puts us in a dire situation upfront which could impact the running game and more importantly the timing and health of newly resigned QB Matt Ryan.<br />
<br />
All, in all, the Falcons look to air it out early and often and i'm sure SJAX will get a ton of carries especially in short yardage and to milk the clock. Closing out games in the playoffs was ugly, we got lucky against Seattle and blew it against the Niners.<br />
<br />

<br />
I don't know why that sentence was hard to write but there it is. Roller coaster wouldn't give it justice but we certainly had our ups and downs. I want to say that i regret nothing because everything happens for a reason but i will say there are a lot of things i wish i did different and things i wish she did different.<br />
<br />
Here i sit on the computer on her birthday as she celebrates, i also celebrate. I celebrate new beginnings. I celebrate every new day i spend with my girls, i celebrate the new challenges that will surely be placed in my path and i celebrate whatever comes my way because things that come to end signal another to begin and I await what's in store for me.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Knicks had a very good season. A season i think most would agree was surprising especially the torrid start. Jason Kidd was gelling and create for the Knicks, Felton was back to the Felton of old and even Rasheed Wallace was giving the Knicks some good minutes and some toughness. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If you would tell me in the preseason the Knicks would finish with the second seed in the east and win 54 games i would have called you crazy. I expected mid 40s and maybe fighting for 4-6 seeds. I wonder if that makes me a pessimistic fan or a realistic one. How ever you deem the Knicks season the playoffs is where teams really show what they are made of and we folded like a WWE chair :/ Melo played as hard as he could with the help he got, which is to say not much at all. JR Smith is still missing, Felton was stunted and our shooting was nerfed. I won't even mention Jason Kidd's funk which i believe has forced him into retirement. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Pacers played great. They played strong, fast and decisive. I don't want to take anything away from them especially the play of Roy Hibbert and Lance Stephenson. The Knicks had no answer and the Pacer shooters made their shots. The Knicks played good to great defense but we just couldn't score. JR didn't get going, Amar'e just couldnt get a roll going due to his limited minutes, Kidd was horrible and Novak didn't even play. The Knicks best players were Prigioni, Melo and Chris Copeland. Tyson Chandler was just abused. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope we can draft well and hope that Kidd retires, Amar'e comes back full strength and Melo comes back healthy. We got close, but we could have played a whole lot better!</div>

<br />
2012. It feels like it was yesterday when i day dreamed of the "future" with flying cars and crazy technology in our planes, trains and video games.<br />
<br />
Sadly we have no flying cars, no hover boards and a knockoff version of the auto lacing sneakers from Back to The Future. No amazing energy or fuel breakthroughs. It's kinda sad actually. For everything we move forward in we still still in others.<br />
<br />
The loss of life in my family this past week has been very humbling. It gives pause to what matters the most and what doesn't. Unfortunately, this country is guided by a blind passion to be petty. What matter most to people is usually stupid things that usually got blown up to huge fights and next thing you as you recall the stupidity that just happened it just sounded very shallow and baseless.<br />
<br />
Lesson? Live to fight another day as today can be enjoyed and tomorrow not promised.DCXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06625786618095890693noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228304553385301723.post-32047984634138864852011-06-26T13:51:00.000-04:002011-06-26T13:51:52.274-04:00Welcome to NY Iman Shumpert...wait who??<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://assets.nydailynews.com/img/2011/06/25/alg_dantoni-shumpert.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="238" src="http://assets.nydailynews.com/img/2011/06/25/alg_dantoni-shumpert.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Well, i will say this. I did alot of research going into this draft as to what we needed, what would be available and what i could live with coming away from this draft. One thing i knew for certain, The Knicks would buy another draft pick. I assumed it would be late first round, maybe 30 from Chicago. They did buy a pick and it was a second rounder.<br />
<br />
Here was my expectations. Take the best player available at 17. I assumed one of the lottery talents would fall and get snatched up by us...it almost happened.<br />
<br />
F Kawhi Leneard was taken by the Pacers @ 15. My next step was to take one of these four: Nikola Vucevic, Chris Singleton, Marshon Brooks, Kenneth Faried or Donatas<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 11px; line-height: 14px;"> . </span></span>Vucevic went a pick before, an we had a choice of the rest. Brooks the SG in the Spreewell mold, Faried a rebounding machine, Donatas a 7ft Andrea Bargnani type who would do fantastic in Mike D's system but wouldn't defend a fly, Singleton the best defender in the draft, combo PF/SF and with the 17th pick in NBA draft...The NY Knicks select..... Iman Shumpert?!?!??!<br />
<br />
Doing my research, i knew of him. I saw videos, read the scouting reports but with the more " known " targets on the board you didn't expect it. After a day or two of calming down, the pick makes alot of sense. We need defenders, we need athletes. Shumpert is a stud defender, he can guard 1-3. He also is looking to be groomed as a PG. He is ideal size to play the 2 as well. 42" vertical, 6'10" wing span and quickness allows him to be our go to defender against the Kobes, Wades, Westbrook and Lebron's of the world.<br />
<br />
We need interior defense also, and Singleton would have fit the bill but the minutes and rotation with Amar'e and Melo would not have saved him many minutes. Shumpert will be in the guard rotation right now.<br />
<br />
We bought the 45th pick from the Hornets and got the rights to Josh Harellson, a C with a mean streak. About time! We need a good who will avg more fouls than points and can pick and roll and hustle. Hope he makes the team.<br />
<br />
Hope this lockout ends, the Knicks need some big men..i hear Kwame Brown is the target...help me!DCXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06625786618095890693noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228304553385301723.post-64394922854316913002011-06-14T19:17:00.000-04:002011-06-14T19:17:53.600-04:00One shall rise, and one shall fall..<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.yougabsports.com/gfile/75r4!-!FFMLML!-!zrzor45!-!FNKOLSDD-GGOO-HPQJ-LRSF-RDLOLKLNKOEP!-!72y1nq/alg_mavs_trophy_dirk_kidd.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="238" src="http://www.yougabsports.com/gfile/75r4!-!FFMLML!-!zrzor45!-!FNKOLSDD-GGOO-HPQJ-LRSF-RDLOLKLNKOEP!-!72y1nq/alg_mavs_trophy_dirk_kidd.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
13 years pushing and grinding and sacrificing all that he is worth...it pays off in ways he could never have imagined. Dirk, Jason Kidd and Jason Terry have achieved their goals, and well deserved as no one had them reaching the second round let alone defeating the defacto champs, Miami heat.<br />
<br />
I have always enjoyed watching Dirk play. Something about a seven footer with shooting skills that rival the leagues elite guards. He always played his game, plug him in for 20/9/4 with 50/40/90 shooting %s. He was heading down the path of greatest superstar to never win a championship, that is until this year. He rose to the challenge when others wilted under the pressure.<br />
<br />
All praise Dirk, the NBA's savior against the evil empire.DCXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06625786618095890693noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228304553385301723.post-62383494793111700972011-06-08T12:32:00.000-04:002011-06-08T12:32:52.545-04:00When is real too real in gaming?<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3115/5805486948_8a2a0fd14d_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3115/5805486948_8a2a0fd14d_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<br />
Yes this is a picture from an upcoming videogame on the Xbox 360. The detail is amazing, the road, rims, tires lighting..you could almost think it was photograph.<br />
<br />
How much is to much? Do we really aim to play games that mirror real life? Is the goal to basically play a life sim and control it as we wish? I play games to relax ( yeah somehow cursing at my screen when i lose a Madden game and yell at my controller when i get owned in Halo is relaxing lol ) and escape to new place. A place that doesn't stress bills, work or any other of life's crutches.<br />
<br />
Technology waits for no one, but how much can they push the visual and audio barriers that blur the lines of fantasy and reality? Do i want to play a Sims game that actually recreates my neighbors and town? The answer is yes lol A Sims game where i can walk over to my neighbors and just punch them in the face for playing the music to loud is the type of escape i'd love, especially if they look exactly like them!<br />
<br />
Bring on technology, bring on photo realistic visuals and bring on my neighbors..sons of bitches the lot of them :)DCXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06625786618095890693noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228304553385301723.post-82884546936867327152011-06-08T01:25:00.000-04:002011-06-08T01:25:31.509-04:00NBA Finals, E3 and DCX is back baby!!So, it's been a long time..too long. I have returned to continue what i started :) Lots of things have happened from the last post to this one, lets just say life has a way of balancing out. DCX is back :)<br />
<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange;">NBA FINALS</span><br />
<br />
Speaking of balancing out, Mavs have tied the series with the Miami Cheat tonight behind a fantastic defensive effort and Demi Dirk up to his tricks again. LeBron disappeared, i think they have an apb out for him and Wade carrying the load, fumbled the last possession away.<br />
<br />
How sweet it is. I used to like LeBron, his power, his speed, his ability to toy with the opposing defenders but i must say, he checked himself out of that game last night. He didn't want the burden of being the man. Bosh stepped up more than he did, it was pathetic.<br />
<br />
Dirk, however, being well defended and fighting flu like symptoms, he wanted the ball and got it when it counted. He put the Mavs on his back and delivered what ended up being the game winning basket.<br />
<br />
Hating on LeBron is the cool thing to do these days, but being outplayed by Shawn Marion is inexcusable.<br />
<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange;">E3</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: yellow;"><br />
</span><br />
Nintendo announced it's new " next gen " console. The Wii U. Features a 6" touch screen on the controller and finally entering the HD era. Looks like it could be a nice hybrid of Wii like games with some punch and the screen provides Dreamcast VMU like experiences plus some unique ones i'm sure.<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: yellow;"><br />
</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://files.g4tv.com/ImageDb3/272439_S/Wii-U-Nintendos-New-Console-Project-Cafe-Gets-A-Real-Name.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://files.g4tv.com/ImageDb3/272439_S/Wii-U-Nintendos-New-Console-Project-Cafe-Gets-A-Real-Name.jpg" width="270" /></a></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: yellow;"><br />
</span><br />
Sony showed off some great games like Uncharted 3, and Resistance 3 but the news of the day was the official roll out of the next gen portable system which has been officially called PSVITA. Sporting a 5" OLED screen, dual analog and touch pads on the back, it is a killer system that rivals current home consoles.<br />
<br />
The best part, all this horsepower will only cost you $249 for the WIFI model and $299 for the 3G/WIFI model, insane when you compare the price to the original PSP and even the newly released 3DS.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Sony-PS-Vita_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="196" src="http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Sony-PS-Vita_1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div> This fall is going to be a good one.<br />

I'm hearing great things about the game from the campaign to the multiplayer stuff. I'll dive into the campaign sometime tonight.<br />

I remember tearing through Halo 3 all NIGHT! Bought a crap load of the Halo 3 inspired Mountain Dew Game Fuel and beat the game in one 6-7 hour session. The screen is nice, especially in day light conditions. It's razor thin and just makes reading fun. I totally recommend getting one for anyone who even remotely likes to read. Sure, July 4th anywhere else. haha It was mad hot let me tell you. I went down with the fam' on the eve of free agency in the NBA ( thank god my Driod help me out there ). We hung out with Massy ( my sister's friend) Friday night for dinner and had a fantastic time.</p><p> We went to the Bronx Zoo and Times Square on Saturday in near triple digit levels. The kids loved the Bronx Zoo. We arrived around noon and left about closing time, 5pm. Well, we did like 25% of the Zoo and yet felt like we did alot! Afterwards we went home to reload and then spent the night in Times Square showing the girls what the big city is like. We went to Toys R Us and enjoyed a Ferris Wheel ride.</p><p>Sunday's plan was the NY Aquarium and Coney Island with Battery Park afterwards. The Aquarium was amazing, girls loved every minute of it. Then off to Coney Island, OMG it was packed! Tooooo packed. We didn't stay long due to the crowd and overall heat but we canceled the fireworks and went to dinner instead. </p><p>Overall a fantastic weekend with the ones i love the most!! Can't wait for our next trip!</p><p><br /></p><p>On a basketball note, my NY Knicks have sign Amare!! Soo happy to have a player with the skill set he has. Sure he put up numbers identical as Lee but this man has umph. Energy and to be honest, players would rather play with him than Lee. I love Lee, but Stat will help bring talent to NY. I hope that means Lebron and Melo next season.</p><p><br /></p><div style="clear: both; text-align: center; font-size: xx-small;">Published with Blogger-droid v1.4.2</div>DCXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06625786618095890693noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228304553385301723.post-59020859125443422362010-06-13T11:39:00.001-04:002010-07-07T18:18:51.195-04:00Next levelWow, just wow. Tons has happened since my last post. A quick update on the pups. They all went to good homes and have been growing well and adjusting swimmingly in their new homes. Since my dismissal at Hardings and my separation with Trish, that i found a new job at St Luke's Nursing Home and have reconciled with Trish and have been doing better than ever!! <div><br /></div><div>It was a tough go around being alone again. Sure i had time to watch every single Yankee playoff and world series games and i played a ton of video games but the house lost it's soul, and so did i. The kids didn't like it, neither did we. We did our best to communicate and work things out and we have. Things are fantastic, and i personally feel like we have connected on yet another level.</div><div><br /></div><div>On a different note, i love my job!! Adam, my bestest friend!!, hooked me up! It's paying some nice dollars! Got insurance!! banging 401k! Best of all? I feel loved. I feel like my work is appreciated. It makes such a different where in the last 4 months i have done as much over time as i have in eight years at my previous employer. I love working there and helping out my co workers. Much love to SLH.</div><div><br /></div><div>On to some personal exciting news. Went to my first Knicks game in April against the Heat. Was an amazing thing to be at the Garden, the Mecca while watching my Knicks live. I got interviewed on MSG Network that aired the next night during the Knicks VS Wizards game regarding my opinions on what the Knicks should do in free agency. Went to the game with TheFrankman from Gaming Age...die hard fan, and good guy. </div><div><br /></div><div>I also finished my Gaming Madden Online Franchise and it went five seasons. Here's the breakdown.</div><div><br /></div><div>YR 1- 10-6 NFC South crown beat the Giants first round and lost to the Cowboys second round.</div><div>YR 2- 8-8</div><div>YR 3- 8-8</div><div>YR 4- 9-7 just missed the playoffs</div><div>YR 5- 11-5 wildcard. Beat the Eagles first round and lost to the Packers second round.</div><div><br /></div><div>I had alot of fun. Built a team like a great GM would :) Never had a losing season and for the first time in GAF Madden history i went to the playoffs twice, and won two playoff games.</div><div><br /></div><div>So things are great, free agency for the Knicks is right around the corner, the summer is in full swing and good things are bound to happen :)</div><div><br /></div><div><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div>DCXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06625786618095890693noreply@blogger.com1
